An easy guide to accomplishing New Year’s resolutions in 2020.
First, start with clarity. Make sure your goals are clear and you know exactly what you want to achieve this year as well as why. To that end, having a clear “why”, more than anything else will help motivate you throughout the year.
Second, establish consistency. Above all, be consistent in tracking your progress toward achieving your goals. Creating a simple tracking system that is updated consistently will help you achieve results.
Third, celebrate progress. Stop to recognize what you are accomplishing even if you aren’t as far along as you’d like. Remember, change does not happen overnight. Celebrate even small victories along the way.
Fourth, show charity toward yourself. Love the fact that you are setting goals and striving toward them. Don’t get down on yourself if you have setbacks or aren’t progressing as quickly as you’d hoped. Always stay positive! Having kindness and love for yourself will help you accomplish more.
